Hi, Armand, thanks again for the ipod shuffle! I am working my way through the IME I bought in Orlando NWA and I went to Big Seminar X in Atlanta. I am officially now entering analysis paralysis! This “Follow-up Process” video repeated what I learned in IME online in the London video, day 1 session 3F to be specific. As a current IME student, will I be able to participate in the relaunch for a free review? Just say yes!
Thanks, again!

Armand, you’re head-and-shoulders above 99% of other internet marketers out there, and I could not agree more with you. As I teach my students, the follow-up is where MOST of the money is made, and you’ve provided a sure-fire, no nonsense follow-up strategy that is tested and proven to convert. But you’ve gone further, and demonstrated exactly what to do after the sale is made for back-end profits. Thank you for providing this video — I’m keeping a close eye out for the following videos!

Armand,
Great walk through.
Not only do you cover the follow-ups you need to close those who did not make an immediate decision, you then provide the necessary steps to support your client to help them use your product.
There are way too many people who buy something and never even open it. Your process helps them use it and you earn the right to sell them something else. Plus you provide the steps for future offers.
Good job.

Armand, you stun the public with the type of information you post for free. That leads me to a little experience I had. I was generating sales because of my follow up emails I created, not really fully understanding this whole process until I became a member of my mastermind group.
My auto-responder script that I was using started sending emails like mad, and the script was shut down, without being informed. My sales stopped and I didn’t understand why. It shows you that the follow-up emails do work, even if you don’t fully understand how to write cash generating follow up emails.
I was generating sales from those emails that I created once, great info, it should be the corner stone for learning how market online.
The key to success, is to work smarter, not harder,

Hi Armand,
Great info, as usual!
I purchased your original IME product a couple of years ago. Is this an update, or new product? Same answer as Kathy above?
Also, would you recommend an opt-in with incentive leaving the sales letter, or a downsell? Or Downsell, followed by opt-in with incentive?
(incentive being report, video, etc.)
Thanks very much!

Hi,
Many thanks for the audio, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I thought the information on the sequencing of opt in sales was great.
It would also be good to give more detail on the content of the emails. eg
day 1 intro
day 2 benefits
day 4 testimonials
etc etc
I know there is only so much that you can put in an audio and keep the view entertained, but I do think that information on text vs html emails, use of images, and number of words per email, use of PS and PPS etc would enhance your audio.
Kind Regards

I think you missed an important part in the video. I stated…
- You should break up your sales letter with a new benefit or aspect of your product with each email.
- It should ALSO include a testimionial
- I also stated you should keep your emails to less than 100 words.
- Also include 3 links to what you want to promote.
So I think I covered what you were hoping for.

Hello Armand!
This is great stuff. I really enjoy this type of presentation. This Follow Up subject was great and made a lot of sense.
I understand that Promotions are independent of the emails going out for the Opt-In list.
One question I have is, once a person has been moved from the Opt-In list to the Customer list and they start receiving the support emails where you earn their trust for more sales opportunities, is it Ok to include them at this point for Promotions even though they’re in the middle of the “Sales support sequence”?
[reply this comment]
January 2nd, 2008 at 10:49 am
My answer would be NO. You haven’t “earned the right” yet to promote again. Now the other part is you could have had an upsell and another offer on the thankyou page. But, during the follow up period, earn their trust. Promote after the two weeks.
Here’s another scenario. If you have been on any of my option lists, you know that we list ALL of our products at the bottom of every email, so you could do that, but that’s really passively promoting.

You have several products. Is each product auto-responder set up separately to remove client from “opt-in” list and add to “customer list”? Or is it just set up that anyone who buys something gets migrated?

From a newbie
This is really great stuff! Just to break it down a little it’s not that newbies don’t get it, It’s the “G word” can’t sell it! You were so right to mention that most really mess up, follow up badly and the most important part of this message got home to this newbie “Earn The Right To Sell To Them Again” You know, I’m sure this video alone could end the long debate of “Programs work but people buy them and just leave them on there hard drives” Maybe if more people would use your breaking down the tutorial and using customer service questions in emails idea, more people would know how to use those programs and if you know how to use it, it’s unlikely to just set on your hard drive.
Thank you very much for the education.

Armand,
Great info, once again. It should be obvious, but it isn’t to most
people that you have to continue to ask for their money. Why would you
want to keep people on your list anyway, if not for the sale.
Your point that they are more likely to buy close the date of first
contact is excellent.
Analogy in the offline world: Average cold callers give up after the first rejection and don’t call that same prospect again. Seems to be hard for most folks to be persistent enough too succeed.

Armand,
You answered Don’s question about customers in their 2 weeks of followup support emails with side note about upselling on a thank you page.
If you do an upsell, does it go to another optin page or to the direct purchase of the product and the order page?
If it does go to the opt in page and the person then opts in but does not buy the product from there, they could conceivably end up being on the sales followup prospect (which says not to promote) and the opt-in followup process (which is heavily promoting the second product).
Did I understand this accurately??
Andie
[reply this comment]
ArmandMorin reply on January 7, 2008:
I’m not sure if I understand your question. But if you do an upsell where you sell people BEFORE they buy, you do not send them to an optin page, just to the order form.

January 6th, 2008 at 8:36 pm
Armand,
One more question,
What if your product or service doesn’t take much explaining to consume?
What if it is just a Teleseminar replay, or ebook that once listened to or read, that is all it takes to understand how to use it?
It would seem silly to be sending out 14 days of training about that type of product. Right?
What’s the sales followup process for something that is more readily consumable by the user?
How can this be used for a service if you are a coach or psychotherapist? I am struggling to wrap my head around converting the concept.
Thanks.
Andie

Armand,
You mentioned 1ShoppingCart.com, GetResponse.com and of course AutoresponderGenerator.com (Aweber). My questions are this:
1. There is much debate over these 3 services and I’m really having a hard time choosing between them especially because 1SC offers a bunch of other features that you just won’t get anywhere else. However, it’s been said by many who use their service that their delivery rate is not that good. For the newbies, who would you suggest to go with and why?
(Please don’t be bias for AG, but honest answers)
2. For those who like what 1SC offers and need the cart, would you suggest also using one of the other 2 for better deliverablility?
3. I do marketing and PR at my day job and I purchased Aweber for them before I knew about AG. If I get AG for my home business will I get the same great service and support team that I deal with at Aweber? Just wanted to make sure!
Thanks,
Kelly

Armand, I honestly have never come across another marketer like you anywhere–and I’ve been online since 1996 too!
Your methods are astoundingly simple yet astoundingly effective, your manner is easy and relaxed, you don’t keep back important parts of your information. You have given us so much truly valuable information here. I can’t believe it! You deserve your success 100 percent.
Happy New Year–may 2008 be your best year yet.
I’ll be in Raleigh this summer–love to buy you a coffee.

I think all your videos were incredibly savvy and understandable. Thank you for sharing them Armand. I have enjoyed learning the little I can from you at this point. Keep praying (not really) to win the Lotto so I can afford to buy IME but oh and alas it was not meant to be. For those of you that are getting it I am extremely jealous….enjoy it all of you and do your homework.

sequential follow up. After sales has been done and after the 13th day tutorial, how often shall the follow up’s go out to the customer?

Holy Cats, Armand.
Talk about rubber-to-the-road - I’m going RIGHT NOW and fix my current follow-processes, thanks to your video, and I’m CLEAR it’s going to multiply my results! Thank you!!!
I’ve joined so many other programs, that now my hands are full - and now I’m wishing I’d made room for yours.
Is there any chance you’re going to create a home-study version of IME that I could consume 3 months from now? Or, will you run a new version of it in the future?
Grateful for everything you’re putting out there!
Gail

Great Video,
It seems like a lot of work, but I can see how it will all pay off with more sales and better customer service.
You’re Awesome Armand

p.s. could you provide cut and paste Templates or Frameworks for your autoresponders and what converts best…
Also, a sample sequence from your best converting autoresponders would be great.

From my experience the best investors are mature in their thinking and have realistic investment expectations. They measure their personal investment horizon in months and years - rather than weeks or days.
