Armand, these videos are FANtastic! I have to tell you, with all the fluff out there in the world of Internet marketing, it’s refreshing to hear simple, easy-to-learn techniques and strategies I can put to use immediately.
The book idea - brilliant! I’m already working on it! (and I’ve been putting off writing a book for soooooo long).
Thank you!

Armand,
I almost hate to say how good this is; because, I am encouraging people who will be competing.
But the information in the course and these training videos you are giving away are too good not to support them and encourage people to get started creating their own revenue streams.

HI,
Very nice presentation,Armand has a very compelling yet casual speeking style.Could he actually be the “Mr. Rogers” of internet marketing. hmmmmmmmmm….. scratching my chin, looking at the ceiling “naw….probably not” BUT if I had an IM related site I would consider giving the affiliate game a shot. Never the less I do enjoy the content he tosses out, it’s appreciated….really !
Good luck with your launch (even though luck has little to do with it.)

JohnT
PS on the page called “What you should call it” 6th bullet down, might read better as want them “to” buy
and the page called “I’ll send you a big fat check” nice bait… might read better at bullet 3 as “pay 200 for ever”y”
No biggee, just some things that caught my eye….even the big guys have occasional spelling issues…..just like us regler fokes.

I’ve been too preoccupied preparing for the launch of my new product to catch up on my emails but something made me click on your email out of 95 unread messages and I’m so glad that I did.
I’m racing against time to tie up loose ends before the launch but I had to pause for a moment or two to say a big “thank you” for giving so much valuable information so generously.
Just two things I picked up from your “Quick ebooks” vido was well worth the time spent on your site and these tips will be implemented as soon as I sign off, here - how I refer to my ebook in my sales copy and and the means of acquiring good material for my own information products.
I can’t thank you enough. I shall be getting in touch with you, again, once I’m ready to compile my next product.

Armand
I have come across a few guys and gals who call a spade a spade when it comes to internet marketing. I’m actually in the wrong generation at age 66 and I may have started late but I am getting to grips with the concept. Spent a bit of cash on Courses … some just tooooo much to plow through … 800 pages … some of it not that informative. Then I have come across some like yourself who produce some pretty informative stuff. AMAZING STUFF which will help me to get off the ground … I receive some (RAW PLR articles which I plan to edit and use … some pretty poorly written but it seems your methods enumerated in this video will help me to get off the ground much more quickly.
I am trying to learn something about WEB design but it seems that I fall into the category that so may others have mentioned … “Everything has to be right” instead of “Good enough”.
Thanks again. Great stuff.

Thanks for the corrected article
in one part you removed Ezine ARticles but in another part you left it in. I guess that was the correction. It’s a little confusing now.
Basically, when usuing articles from an Article bank, people need to make sure they are not going against the policy of the article bank and each one is different.

Hi Armand
As a soon to retire headteacher, I wish to comment as follows:-
I have listened to thousands of full training day presentations, with and without video about all manner of familiar educational subjects.
Never once, have I listened to such an easy to understand and motivational presentation about a subject I know little about.
Never have I been so excited to see beyond a thick mist so deliberately created by many the false Gurus!
May I please use your link Armand in my first book? The creation of e-books and selling them, will be a part of it.

It’s actually quite simple. In each article MOST of the time, the author gives their website address. If their contact information is NOT on their website you can do a whois lookup to find their contact information.

Hi Armand,
That’s a great piece on e-books. I got the rights back from two of my books for digital products. I took, “How to Take No For An Answer And Still Succeed,” turned it into an ebook, all laid out just as the printed book was done, and have sold it all over the world. From Saudi Arabia to Israel (1 order each 15 minutes apart one evening) to countries I’d never heard of.
I added bonuses and I update it from time to time. I also put out a special report for promotions that’s added greatly to my list. Those customers have become customers for my other products, from First Step Internet Marketing to What Power You Must Have.
Great work on the topic, I look forward to seeing more.
Best wishes,

Not only is it a courtesy to article authors to get their permission, it is a legal requirement. They own the copyright and if you use the article WITHOUT their permission, you are infringing on copyright laws. Save yourself a ton of grief by making sure you contact the author of ANY article you reprint.
‘Nuf said.
[reply this comment]
January 4th, 2008 at 12:55 pm
Exactly. Let me very clear on this to everyone.
You MUST GET THE AUTHOR’S PERMISSION TO USE THE ARTICLE. If you don’t it is called stealing.
Where do you find their contact information? Simply go to their site or look up their domain on a whois lookup for the contact information.
If they do not respond, then remove the article.

Hey Armand
I am very excited about giving this E-book a go and now that I have a much better idea on how to go about it I feel a lot better. Now you are dealing with a person who is a complete novice and pardon my ignorance BUT OK so you have permission to use other peoples articles and have cut & pasted all this information on your pet subject and there it is sitting on your screen ….. So what do you do next? How do you get it off your screen and onto other people’s screens? and how do people pay you for other people’s stuff in a secure way?
All this is truly amazing and I am more than willing to learn but I feel so dumb when it comes to the very basics on what to do. All the info that you have so kindly given is extremely logical and easy to follow but it is what you do next and how you go about it that I really need step by step information on. Do you already have such an ebook that I could follow?

Hi Armand,
I just listened to you update video on “Massive Traffic”. Although ezinearticles.com prevents the sale of articles from it’s site, the technique, I think, is a viable solution to driving traffic to one’s site if the PDF is used as a “free e-book” to Opt-In to the newsletter, mailing list etc.
A sequel PDF developed from another article directory that allows the use of it’s articles with the written permission of the author could then be sold. I know it sounds like a lot of work, instead of 72 hours maybe 144 hours, but I think it would be interesting to see the impact. What do you think?

How do I sell my ebook?
ANSWER: Make a page, then drive traffic. Watch the Massive Traffic video I have posted.
What is the price of the ebook?
ANSWER: The ebook price will depend on the market. I would say $19.97 - $47 on average. That’s a broad range, but like I said the price depends on the market your in.
What is the best way to publish my ebook?
ANSWER: Create a PDF and then make a webpage. It’s doesn’t matter what country you are in doing it like this.

Great Video with high content and great ideas. I was very excited about publishing book on the internet and was especially keen on the concept of modifying “Think and Grow Rich for ____ “(niche audience). When I went to see if it is public domain, I was unable to verify that it was in public domain. Was I mistaken about using this book for modification for my niche audience?
If I was mistaken, please let me know.

FYI, In the explanation, you still spoke about using www.ezinearticles.com
For those people that did not watch the video update underneath, they might not understand clearly the correction, since both were still mentioned. I did not. (Now I do.)

When you complete your ebook, what is the best way to approach the authors to announce its completion?

Is it always a good idea to set it up as an affiliate component?
If so, how does that work?

By coincidence, I came across a pdf e-book that I downloaded some time ago - By a known “GURU” no less!! - that has copy/paste and print disabled!
I was quite baffled.

Hi Armand,
Till up this moment I was only able to listen
to two of your videos. I think they are awesome.
I like the fact that you are talking and not somebody else.
I am impressed by the simplicity and even that gives me
the wrong feeling that I am stupid.
I learn a lot of you.
Please go on giving it to us.
Kindly yours,
Gert Jan

I have to add my thanks to all the others that you are receiving.I have been searching for over 1 year for simple explanations on how to get into internet marketing. Is there any way we can download these videos to our desktops?(since you say they will be removed soon)I have just found your site and being new to computers it seems the only way to be able to absorb this vital information in my own time.

Hi Armand! Happy New Year 2008! I’m looking forward to some of those big checks soon:)
I’ve been frozen with information overload to this point. Your easy going relaxed way of speaking (and your high-quality voice) made me listen to your videos. I’d love more information on how a newbie can get rolling…my website below is just a domain name with no host yet…but I’ll shortly figure out which host and how to launch!
Thank You for great content.

Well Armand,
I caught the phrase,”the longer it takes you to complete your own project, the farther you get from finishing it.” That has happened to me too often. My next step will be to take action on making my own digital book.
This information is succinct and provocative.
Thank you.

Hi Armand
Great information, clearly laid out and easy to follow. I am in the process making an ebook, but find it hard to get the emails from the authors to ask for permission to publish(on article dashboard directory). Will keep trying to find articles that have and the author and the email address.
Hope to purchase the course when I can afford it.
Thank you

I’m looking into setting up a Website and going into e-books. I have just launched a blog at blogger.
Got your site from Joelcomm.
Low on cash so budget VERY tight, don’t know much about scripts and tech stuff so still looking for a site that’s affordable and need to market to monetize ASAP.
VERY interesting and useful stuff, BUT I can’t see your video, just hear the voice. Why? Please let me know, thanks.

Armand, I’m not sure the TOS of Article Dashboard quite let people follow your advice strictly when it comes to using articles sourced from them. If I’ve read the TOS correctly, you must not modify the article in any way - that means you cannot change, edit or reword any part of any article sourced from an author on that site.
As you know, sometimes articles have to be massaged a little for narrative flow or just to polish them a little.
What’s your advice on this? The TOS follows
Publisher Terms of Service
1. You must not remove “Article Source: http://www.ArticleDashboard.com” from each article you choose to publish. 2. You must respect the copyright of each author whose articles you wish to publish. This includes but is not limited to 1. resource box, 2. any links provided by the author. 3. You must not change, edit, or reword any part of any article not written by you. 4. You must agree to keep hyperlinks “live” so that users can click on said link and be taken to it’s destination. 5. You agree to never use any articles obtained from ArticleDashboard.com in any form of spam or onsolicited mail. 6. You agree to not publish any articles on sites that contain hate, racist, warez, porn, or any other illegal material. 7. You agree to never sell any article obtained from our directory without written consent from the author. This includes selling articles individually or in a compilation.

If you want to edit the article, you MUST contact the author directly since they are the one who actually own the rights to the article.

Very helpful information you give out so freely. I especially appreciate your input on allowing the readers to print the digital book and how this brings you into their home!

Good info Armand! i remember i saw this method when you are in Malaysia in year 2006. At that time being, i was really new to Internet Marketing and to be frank i don’t believe it is legal and work for me.
But now as a internet Trainer/Coach, i am seriously going to implement this method and share with my participants.
Wait and see for my product launch.
Again, Thank You Armand.
Cheers!

I followed the master, and in one week produced my niche market e-book called SUDDEN SPOUSE DEATH which I have put up on the web last Saturday. (Now I am waiting for sales)
If anyone is interested in seeing what I did, you can e-mail me and I will send you a copy of the book.

Just finished the Quick eBook Creation video. Great information!
I’d also like to know more about the mechanics of marketing the book i.e. Do you use a squeeze page to collect names or possibly give them a taste of the book. Also how about using eBay?
Thanks!

Armand,
You nailed it. How simple can it get? Chicken Soup books show that one doesn’t have to actually write a book to be a Best-Selling author. Your steps to “writing” ‘er make that pasting a book are much appreciated. Keep up the superb work.

Not sure how ezinearticles can prevent an author from giving you permission to sell their article. Besides, who is to say you actually got the article from ezinearticles? Since most of the articles there are republished on several different websites, who is to say you didn’t learn about it from one of those sites instead of ezinearticles? No one.
Bottom line, the author retains copyright of the article. It says so in the TOS. If they give you permission to sell their article, there isn’t much ezinearticles can do about it.

Thanks for a great video Armand. I haven’t yet seen the update version (due to information overload - and the greatest problem with Internet Marketing - FOCUS - and the life I need to get on with).
I have said it myself: A password on an ebook is the kiss of death; printing disabled is the second kiss of death. I like to - no need to read my stuff offline. I can only watch your video between household chores and other things I need to do. I have been in a “start-up situation” for 10 years now and the more I see the net the more there seems to be to learn. I started just two years after you and I still have not yet made it. What am I doing wrong? Please?
Best, Joe Boylan
PS. The kiss of death for a video is not to allow it to be downloaded.
