Makes a lot of sense to make your optin page much more targetted towards your incoming traffic. Thanks for this tip. It also helps with your adwords quality score i guess :)

Hi Morin,
I enjoyed meeting you at the Big Seminar in LA a couple years ago.
How wide of a net would you cast in regards to the opt in page "hot buttons", to still make the same sales letter seem relevent to the reader? If you have several "specific" opt in pages all going to the same "general" sales letter, are they going to have to sift through the sales letter to find what part is relevent to them?
For example, I'm in the mortgage business. Would I have an opt in page about doing a construction loan go to the same sales letter as a opt in page that talks about bad credit refinances? Please expand upon this.

Another great idea. I have multiple opt-in pages but I've only used one at a time. My pages were not targeted for specific catagories. They were reworded and tested. Now I can see where targeting specific demographics such as WAHMS and running multiple opt-in pages could be beneficial. This strategy along the others I've sen here would work great together, thanks for the information

Armand,

Thank you for the "dah" moment...when you lay it out like that, it just seem so simple...so obvious...you had referred to this message targeting in your Australian video when you were talking about charisma branding for real estate agents, charisma branding for school teachers etc...now its sinking in...targeting the message, dah:)

Thanks so much

Hello, Armand,

Superb video -- wish that I had known these basics three years ago! Love your comment that most people who know what you've covered in the first two videos don't actually do it. You should do a video that simple says "JUST DO IT!" over and over. :-)

Looking forward to seeing more.

Happy day,
Anne

Hi Armin,

My question is about the basics. The company I started my websites with is going out of business. Many things have changed since those days - audio, videos, squeeze page pop unders, etc.

What is a good ***website host***? I have a free blog and I have free godaddy. I want a free site that can be upgraded for membership, php, google ad and all the bells and whistles that the rent-a-coder can play on.

Also, what is a good ***database management program? ***I have 1shoppingcart, but the price goes up to much, too often and I get spammed when I do an email blast.

thanks.

I am delighted that I "clicked". My primary reason for doing so was because Matt Bacak sent your "ReLaunch" movie, and he is top quality. Like Wayne mentioned above, while normally a rational and reasonably intelligent guy, with many "successes" in sales of various sorts, I reached the point where I had (from desperation, a dumb reason to do anything) spent thousands which I did not have on thirty three programs which were too tech....I thought at first...for a newbie.

The reason I jumped into INTERnet marketing from MLM (I'm still pioneering a winning program) was because on TWO occasions, my high income business was destroyed overnight by the lap dogs for the Big Pharma people who hate alternative health products.

But you struck a chord with this logic. I had puzzled over how to reach MORE of those (no matter how few or many) who arrived at my upcoming site, for your point about "people arrive at your site for many reasons" was exactly correct.

Example: When I got out of my war (combat Vet at age 19) and returned to Nebraska, I saw an ad for Arthur Murray Instructors. After dealing with the "sissy" thought, the more vital thought that lovely women who liked to dance would abound prevailed, and I was "in".

Aha. Little did I know that it was damned hard work for three months without pay, but moreover, we were drilled with the info AND pyschology based upon the fact that not every one ( a minority, actually) came there and paid heavy dues to learn to dance. Quite the contrary. The first two women students I had were the most introverted, frightened, insecure little ladies you can imagine. And even in those "dark ages ago times", they went without lunches and scrimped on everything to pay that kind of money.

My giver heart went out to them, and to see them bound in to the studio six months later was (almost) reward enough. They had found the solution to the REAL reason for calling us.

Then , as top producers for THE major weight loss products company in the world...back in the mid 80's...we soon learned that MANY people did not call us to get the products to lose weight. Once again, although they NEEDED to lose weight, quite often people will buy a product just to have a "friend" that they believe will be "There for them" because they "pay you".

Sometimes when we KNEW we weren't getting the REAL reason for their purchase, we would "drop by" the house in the evening and find the original box still unopened in a kitchen cabinet. THEN we could help them with the REAL problem ( MAYBE. IF they truly wanted help)

So your example was like a breath of fresh air, much like the "untying" of the famous "Gordian Knot.

My creative mind reels with the many ways I could use your ideas to reach as many people as possible by covering THEIR deep seated needs for clicking or calling without slapping them with a squeeze page (aptly named) before they can take a breath. Hell, I hate those myself.

So I am ready. I trust Matt Bacak, and thanks, Matt, for the email. Looking forward to consolidating my emerging good common sense into an orderly trip to bucksville.

Never Again will we have all eggs in one basket. We are not "kids any more".

However, I AM holding my breath while awaiting the price, for I have had it up to here with purchases, especially monthly payments.

Best to you

Gail,

Traffic is certainly essential to your business, but I've only done 1 video so give me a little time. :) We'll talk about traffic a few other methods.

You mentioned something that greatly concerns me. You mentioned articles writing a ton of articles, like it was a bad thing. I have to say that articles are KEY in your business. Myself and other marketers such as Matt Bacak post as many as 2 a day many times to drive traffic. We'll do a video on this later to show you why.

One other thing I want everyone to understand.

What I've just layed out in these two videos, although basic. I would dare to say that ALMOST NO ONE DOES IT!!!

Before we can talk strategy, you must have the BASICS in place first. If you're website doesn't convert, you are just THROWING AWAY TRAFFIC. Think about that.

Here's the questions I have for all of you...

1.) Do you have the 4 steps of the model in place?
2.) How many optin pages do you have?

See my point? We need to start with the basics. I can get as advanced as you want, but if you don't have the basics in place in your business... YOU DON'T HAVE A BUSINESS!

I hope you all take this to heart. I'm telling you this to help you.

So far so good - but it's the same info I've learned from everyone else. Here's what I'm not yet hearing answered by anyone -

One opt-in, or a dozen opt-in pages -- you still need traffic to come to them. How do people get to the pages, how do they find out about them? Let's say I'm not counting on Google Searches (it takes 30 days to even show up on search engines), I don't have money to spend on Ad Sense, and I'm not one of the insiders on the boys-club of internet marketers who can just send an email and get all my buddies to recommend my page to their email lists ... Now what? Besides sending a ton of articles out to article submission services and hoping they get read, what does a girl with low-start-up money do to drive lots of traffic to those lovely opt-in pages?

Curious,
Gail
