Armand - A nice tidbit and a bit of a kick up the back-side re: things I know and don’t know.
The clip was a great way to entice someone to ask questions like:
“What is the simplest and quickest way for me to learn how to use auto-responders?”
“What is the best and quickest way for me to lear how to create video/audio postcards?”
I will peruse your blog space and see if these questions are answered!

Hi Armand,
what an amazing concept for “membershipsites”!!
We were attanding the “Freedom Factor Seminar” recently in Las Vegas, and we already had the previlege to get some of the ideas of the past articles.
But this information about “thinking” about membershipsites is priceless - Thank you again!!

Hi Armand,
Just what the doctor ordered !
The best bit of information I´ve heard all year.
Simple, Clear, Concise and to the point with none of the usual B.S Sales Hype.
Looking forward to the next one.

You need a strong sales letter I suppose to get someone to pay you every month just to get your emails
Does anyone have some good tips on what to emphasize on the sales page to make the product look like a private membership and not like any old email newsletter?

Armand,
You continue to fill me with inspiration! I learn so much from you every time you open your mouth (no comments). Ever since I saw you at Jim Edwards’ bootcamp a year ago, I have tried to absorb everything you have. And this is no exception. I can’t wait until you launch this new product.
I am starting a membership site in January and I only wish I had had this “lesson” before I spent months working on the traditional method. But, the good thing is that I can incorporate much of what you talked about.
Thank you for all you give to us and for staying “normal” and not letting your phenomenal success go to your head as so many others have.
I wish you, your wife and your children the very best in the coming year. I can’t wait to see you at Big Seminar XI.
Thanks again

Hi Armand,
WOW great ideas on a site-less membership site.
I am inspired to start all over again with my plans for a membership site. I now want to think more on the lines of doing a bi weekly video or audio message with my autoresponder messages.
Now to get to work on the sales page. Happy New Year!

Hey Armand - nice job on the video.
What I most appreciate about you is your ability to get to the money fast by simplifying.
Reminds me of the story of how NASA spent millions perfecting the technology for a pen that would write in zero gravity and in any position. The Chinese, faced with the same problem but a considerably lower aerospace budget decided they’d just use a pencil.
What you’ve done in this video is to show us the “pencil” versions of those bloated, over designed, state-of-the-art membership sites that make no money while lots of time, money and energy is invested just to get them online and working reliably.
Hmmmm, that sounds a little close to home.
Kudos for another great video and three cheers for K.I.S.S.
Keep ‘em coming!

Hi Armand,
I like the way you teach. You seem to be able to step back to where we are and explain the basics. Some other marketers that I’ve listened to say you need to do this and that but leave out the basic steps. They make it sound like it should be obvious what to do but its not. I really appreciate your videos…their so helpful…thank you so much.

This video is another example of why I admire your work as much as I do. CLARITY!
My partners and I have an entry level course for Internet marketers that took over nine months to develop. It’s running successfully and growing. However, I’ve long thought that the membership model would be more profitable while offering anyone the chance to take the course without a major financial commitment up front.
I’ve been looking at multi-thousand dollar membership site software programs, etc. Now, I realize that we are actually already doing all three of your membership models in one, not just one! Plus we have ongoing “free” calls open to all, including grads.
Okay, now I’m awake Armand, thanks for “bell!”
Happy New Year!

Armand your stuff is great and amazing.
I have seen others using this kind of membership, but what I have to figure out is how to integrate Aweber with Clickbank.
If someone cancels the Clickbank recurring billing probably he will continue receiving the e-mails if I don’t remove him manually from my list.
My question is: How do I automate this process?
If someone here has the answer I can start right now my membership site.
Thank you,

Hi Armand,
1 question:
how do we make sure only members see the information?
If someone wants to forward to info to friends on a membership site, it only lets one person at a time log on. I know there is a viral benefit if my info is shared, but wondered if you have a suggestion for assuring the paying members that this is really an exclusive, members only situation.
thanks.
[reply this comment]
Gil Nelson reply on January 8, 2008:
Great question dottie,
I had the same thought.
My answer to this would be ~ password protect the webpage or folder. If you’re really paranoid about having paid members share the email with their friends, then send them the monthly (weekly, etc.) password in a seperate email each period. This way you don’t have to include the password in the AR series itself. Of course, you may have to pay attention to who’s in month 1 and who’s in month 2, etc for your broadcast emails.
I think, at the end of the day, the objective is to service the paying members in a way that’s easy for them. You info is bound to get passed along by some people no matter what you do, so I wouldn’t sweat the small stuff.
Of course, I’d like to hear what Armand has to say about this… (hint hint)
btw - thanks A for a great audio series. I’m always amazed at how the Law of Attraction does bring the perfect info and support when it is needed. (Or is that, The Teacher arrives when the student is ready… ?)

I love these videos. Clean, to the point, easy to listen to, super ideas. Thanks so much!
I’d particularly like to follow-up with this membership site video:
where to get ongoing content to ensure long-term continuity; getting affiliates to promote it; how to actally set-up the website that would hold the videos or pdf’s; how to start promoting it; how to keep the customer, how to make it viral, and so on–all that it takes to make it successful and as automated as possible.

Hi Armand,
These are really interesting videos - And obviuosly proving not only very successful but also very popular. Congrats!
My thought on this however is - how do these payment modules compete with all the other free membership sites that send you out weekly emails weekly packed with information - how do you get people to pay for your info when its such a compeptitive market and they can go to another membership site and get the information for free?

Armand,
Another fantastic video!!!
How do you decide on pricing for a membership site when you’re offering forced continuity on the front end? Simpy survey and ask customers what they’re willing to pay for the info or…?
Do you use different levels of membership models for the same site?
Huge Thanks!

Surveying is certainly a good way. But, you’ll find out very quickly your customers will always say they want to pay the lowest amount possible. I suggest you look at what others in your niche are charging and then price your product in the middle to the upper end. We never want to sell our products based on price.

Armand, I am following your advice andresearching topics. The problem is, I find good to mediocre search numbers with massive competition. It seems as though everything I’ve considered is like that from interior decorating to healthy eatingand weight loss to windows vista. What can a person do in this circumstance? I love your videos, they have taught me a lot, and yet they aren’t long to watch–good job

ArmandMorin reply on January 10, 2008:
You have faced the EXACT same mistake others are making all over the Internet. I hope everyone reads this real close. You don’t need HUGE search numbers to make significant income.
Let me give you an example. My product eBook Generator is an ebook software. Less than 2500 people a month search on this topic, but that one product does close to $200,000 a year! Do you see my point?
A good range to see is a minimum of let’s say 3000 specific searches for that topic a month.

I think for a siteless membership site to work it would have to be very niche content that you can’t get anywhere else. There also has to be a lot of retention measures such as only paid members can promote the site as affiliates.
